It’s almost here!

1. You can arrange a shuttle from Edmonton International Airport by contacting Sky Shuttle at 780.465.8515 (Edmontonskyshuttle.com) to arrange a pickup time. Payment is required at time of booking. You can also pre-book a taxi by calling one of the following :

2. Monday afternoon registration desk will open from 12 noon – 5 p.m. (also available at the Meet and Greet) for early arrivals. Membership cards or other proof of membership are required

3. Early arrivals on Monday, May 5 will enjoy a “Meet and Greet” Monday evening starting at 6 p.m. Dress is casual red hat attire or go red hat funky as Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!! We will have access to rooms E/F and will provide munchies to enjoy as you mingle and get reacquainted with old friends. Feel free to set up a card game, dice game or other activities.

4. Tuesday morning the registration desk will open at 9 a.m. and be located at our raffle table in the vendors selling area. If you are not participating in any of the scheduled programs for the day, take a free shuttle to West Edmonton Mall, try your luck at the Casino, enjoy lunch or coffee in one of the many onsite restaurants or just visit with new and old friends. 

5. Vendors will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

6. The hotel does not provide mobility scooters. If you require a scooter, please google mobility scooter rentals in Edmonton. There are many locations offering them at various rates but you are responsible for making your own arrangements. If you require a scooter, you can check out rentals at

7. Scooters are available for rent at West Edmonton Mall.

8. Welcome dinner Tuesday evening is all about fun! We plan on opening the doors at 5 p.m. with dinner served at 5:15 p.m. Wear red hat casual, red hat funky or come as matching chapterrettes. If you are considering the "costume contest" here are the guidelines - There will be prizes for the best dressed single/pairs group of one or two and one for groups of three or more. Come dressed as matching pirates, cowgirls, doo wop girls, flapper girls, chapter outfits, etc. – whatever your fancy! Remember “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” so get creative! Please advise if you will be entering the “best dressed chapter” contest as a single/pair or group and how many participants you will have by emailing us at edmontonfunvention2025@gmail.com.

9. Wednesday will see us start the day with a buffet breakfast. Wear your PJs or red hat casual. Doors will open at 8 a.m. with buffet breakfast ready for 8:15.

10. Vendors will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Free shuttles to West Edmonton Mall run every 30 minutes. 

11. Day time activities will continue throughout the day. A schedule is provided.

12. Wednesday evening is our gala dinner so wear your best red hat regalia or fun red hat coloured outfit. Doors will open at 5 p.m. 

13. Thursday morning will be our farewell breakfast. Doors will open at 8 a.m. with breakfast served at 8:15 a.m. Come in red hat casual or if you aren’t leaving right away your red hat PJs. Our event will formally end at approx. 10 a.m. to allow for 11 a.m. checkout.

14. There will be no vendors on Thursday morning so get your shopping done early.

15. In Alberta there is a 5% GST added to the majority of purchases but no additional sales tax.

16. There are no pennies in Canada, so cash purchase are rounded up or down. Card purchases are for the exact amount. We also do not have $1 or $2 dollar bill. We have a $1 Loonie coin and a $2 Toonie coin. 

17. The use of plastic bags and plastic straws are banned in Alberta. Bring a metal straw if you need one and a reusable shopping bag. Most stores provide their own logoed bags for purchase. Eating venues provide paper or compostable straws.

Q. When using PayPal I noticed there was a service fee attached. What happens if I end up underpaying or overpaying because of this fee? 

A. PayPal advises the following: Sending money to friends and family We’ll first show the options that can save you money on fees, like your PayPal balance or your bank. When sending money you may be able to verify if a service fee is being charged or not.  If the amount you send is different from the amount we receive, you will be provided a copy of the PayPal receipt to verify the discrepancy in the amount paid. If you end up overpaying you will receive the credit amount when you arrive at the Funvention. If you underpay, depending on the amount, you may cover it off in your next payment, or if you pay in full and there is a shortage we will collect the difference from you at the Funvention. We are not trying to nickel and dime ladies with payments. We are trying to make the payment process as easy as possible but there are some things out of our control. The registration fee is $425 and that is what every attendee will pay - no less and no more. We appreciate your understanding and welcome your questions or concerns with this process.

Q. Can you help if I am looking for a room mate?

A. Yes!! We have started a list and will connect ladies with each other as requests come in. Just send a note that you are looking for a room mate and we will forward your name and email to others looking.

Q. What airport do I fly into.

A.   You  need to book your flight to Edmonton International Airport (YEG).

There are no shuttle buses for the Hotel to and from the airport. You can connect with any of the following to check on rates, booking, etc.

Q. Is it ok to share table hosting duties with another person?
